In July of 2019, Michael Smith suffered a major health setback. Although it was a life-changer, to say the least, Michael and Deltricia have received caring outreach, practical assistance, and so much loving support. Even so, Michael now finds himself in need of a kidney transplant, in order to continue to progress his health forward.

With Medicare, the transplant itself will be mostly covered. But, the post-transplant costs will be remarkable. There will be numerous medical follow ups, and some of the initial medical prescriptions may cost between $2500 and $4000 per month.

As a result, family and friends of Michael Smith are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with transplantation.
