Michael Smithwick

Hello, this is Sue Smithwick. I am Michael’s sister. Mike had a liver transplant April 22, 2023. He got diagnosed in 2013 with liver disease do too an autoimmune disease sarcoidosis.

Mike is on disability and is in need of help with the co-pays for medications and medical bills. As I am writing this, he is without some of his medications and is needing help to pay the co-pay for them.

Just in the year of 2023 he was home a total of 3 months. That is just adding the days or week together throughout the year. He had several complications and other surgeries. He still has been having complications and has to go back to hospital by ambulance.

Family and friends of Michael Smithwick are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with transplantation.
