Help Michael Williams Get His Double Lung Transplant

Michael Williams, age 45, was diagnosed with stage four C.O.P.D. about five years ago, and it’s gotten worse in the last year and a half. Prior to his sickness, Michael was a truck driver for about 20 years until he got sick. Now he has to have a double lung transplant done.

Funding for this procedure is a monumental task as there will be many medical expenses not covered by insurance such as copays, certain medications, and travel expenses for room and board where his doctors are. The surgery alone is several hundred thousands dollars, but the other expenses are more than Michael can handle alone.

To help with the financial burden of Michael Williams’ uninsured medical expenses, a fundraising campaign in his honor has been set up with Help Hope Live, a trusted nonprofit organization that has been providing community based fundraising assistance to patients and their families for more than 30 years.
