Betsy, that’s how I fondly refer to my wheelchair accessible 2006 Dodge Caravan. Good Ol’ Betsy has served me well for the last 10 years, but her fabric droops, her dash is lit up like a Christmas tree, and the rust is cancerous. At 20 years old she is an official antique!

I am working with the NH Vocational Rehabilitation program to cover the cost of ALL accessible features (ramp, automatic door, wheelchair securement mechanism, and hopefully adaptive driving equipment), but I must cover the cost of a shiny new Chrysler Pacifica. That is where you can help!

I am raising money through the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with a Catastrophic Injury. I have chosen to fundraise with Help Hope Live in part because donations are tax deductible for contributors and will only be used to cover medical and related expenses. Fundraising in this manner has no affect on the disability benefits I rely on to live day to day.
