Mickey Florucci

My name is Mickey, and this is my story:

I was born and raised in Barre Vt where I worked as a granite cutter and finisher. I I took in a lot of granite dust over the years, which has been a lot to do with my current medical condition.
I have been through much as we all do in life,I lost my daughter Deandra,in 2000 as she was abducted out from school and was murdered.Which I found it hard to move forward with my life but somehow I managed to. In 2010 I met Marlene and my life changed for the better. We now have two young ,boys 11and 8 , when my youngest was 5 I got sick and was told I have COPD and need a double lung transplant to live. I am currently living in a rehab center do to my breathing which has been very hard on my boys and Marlene as I’m not there to help as I should be ,they need me to be there for them to grow into young men.All I wish is a chance to grow with them as I was not able to grow with my daughter. All donations will go toward my transplant with Massachusetts general hospital and the recovery process Thank you for any help that you can give.
