Mitch Weinstein

Dear Family and Friends,
As you are all aware, my son Mitch has been placed on the waiting list for a heart and kidney transplant at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami.

His attitude is wonderful and has a great outlook on life. He is 44 years old and is struggling to remain alive to watch his nieces and nephew grow to adulthood. He is a wonderful son and has been helping me through a particularly difficult time. Now it is my turn to help Mitch.

For over a year now, Mitch has been unable to work due to his declining health. Even though Mitch does have medical insurance there are many expenses that are not covered and must be paid out of pocket. Some of these expenses are cobra payments, co-pays, premiums, and medications. Mitch will also be on a life time of anti–rejection medication once he receives his transplant. This is where we need your help.

A fundraising campaign in Mitchell’s honor has been established through HelpHOPELive (HelpHOPELive). HelpHOPELive is a nonprofit organization that has been assisting transplant community for over 26 years. All contributions are tax-deductible and are administered by HelpHOPELive for transplant related expenses only.
