Molly Keegan

Molly Robson Keegan and her three children were involved in a serious car accident in 2013. All four were flown to shock trauma units. Miraculously, her children were unharmed and discharged later that day.

Molly, however, suffered catastrophic damage to her spinal cord. After four months in the ICU and rehab facilities, Molly returned home as a quadriplegic.

The *out-of-pocket* costs associated with caring for someone with Molly’s condition run ~$75,000 annually. For this reason, we continuously fund-raise on her behalf.

Molly lives in Easton Maryland. Her greatest enjoyment in life is her role as mother to her children, Wylie (16), Finn (14) and Piper (11). She pours her fun and creative spirit into everything she does. This includes birthday party adventures, impromptu sleepover and dance parties and living room picnics. She is an instigator and equal contributor to the daily household “chaos” – usually singing and laughing her way through most of it.

Professionally, Molly has devoted over 25 years of her life helping children with autism spectrum disorders. Molly is Founder and Clinical Director of Learning Together, LLC, an organization dedicated to developing and implementing programs to improve the quality of life for these children. Molly earned a Master’s Degree from Columbia University in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). She has also worked as a consultant to the Washington, DC and Eastern Shore County school districts to develop and standardize an ABA-based curriculum for special needs programs.

Molly has an infectious love of life and fun spirit and has committed herself to helping others. Please join her loving family and friends in surrounding her with our support. To help with the cost of the uninsured injury-related expenses, a fundraising campaign in Molly’s honor has been established with Help Hope Live, a nonprofit organization that has been assisting spinal cord injury communities for more than 30 years. All contributions are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law, are held by Help Hope Live in the Mid-Atlantic Spinal Cord Injury Fund, and are administered by Help Hope Live for injury-related expenses only.
