Morris Jones

Hi all, My husband Morris was diagnosed with heart failure in 2012 and kidney disease in 2022. Prior to coming to Memorial Regional Hospital he was following up with the Heart Failure team at the Total Heart Center and going to dialysis 4 times a week.

He is currently waiting at the hospital for dual organ transplant; Heart and Kidney. It may be months before he can receive a transplant. We try and visit him daily to keep up his spirits.Morris was always there for others and put them before himself. He is very prideful, and it is difficult for him to ask for help. He has been an anchor to his family and is now in need. He hopes he can recover and return to work to continue to care for his family.

He is a father to 5 children and 1 grandchild and hopes be there for them in the near future.We are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with a Transplant. Morris has chosen to fundraise with Help Hope Live in part because donations are tax deductible for contributors and will only be used to cover medical and related expenses.
