Stephan Golden

In May 2015, my husband Stephan Golden and I were involved in an ATV accident in which Stephan’s spine was fractured. Since the accident, he has had two neck surgeries and has been admitted to the hospital several times. Doctors are not sure how long it will take before Stephan regains full mobility in both hands and legs. He has had severe back pain and is still unable to walk totally on his own. As you can imagine, the care he needs is very expensive, which is why we need your help.Stephan is a professional videographer and graphic designer. We have been married for 11 years and reside in Raleigh, NC. I work from home in the travel industry, while also being Stephan’s primary caregiver.In spite of the many struggles he faces, Stephan remains hopeful he will be able to return to a productive life in the community through the support of family and friends. In order to continue healing properly, he needs regular consistent physical therapy, personal training and medical equipment. Another expense we face is the need for a home care aid for at least eight hours a day while I work.
