I would like to invite you to help me fundraise for a vehicle with a wheelchair lift.

I was born with Cerebral palsy 31 years ago and the doctors said I would not live beyond 10 years and 20 years later, here I am, still going strong with a positive attitude. However, now that I have grown into an adult, I am getting too heavy for my mom, dad or nurse to lift me to and from the wheelchair when transporting me to school and to doctor’s visits.

My current condition is that I am co-dependent on my mom, dad and nurse to do everything for me, ie, feeding me, bathing me, changing me, dressing me, transporting me to and from doctors and school – you get the picture :).

Anyhow, I am very blessed that I have strong family support with love, but they are not in a financial position to get a vehicle to transport me in the wheelchair and this is why I am writing this story. Can you please support me in getting a vehicle with a wheelchair lift as it has become very difficult for my mom, dad and nurse to lift me when going to school or doctor?
