My name is Nery Hernandez Gomez. I am a 32-year-old father of three. About two years ago I was in a tragic work accident that left me paralyzed from the waist down and with limited use of my hands. I have gone through years of physical therapy and worked hard to learn how to do my everyday tasks such as bathing, going to the restroom, eating, cooking, writing, and my most recent accomplishment driving. Learning to drive again gives me hope for my future, my kids, and what I can accomplish next. I am reaching out to everyone in hopes to raise money for me to purchase a handicapped modified vehicle.
