Nick Needs Your Help

We come to you in need of your help and support in this deeply troubling time. Our beloved Nick was diagnosed with an aggressive type of Diffused Large B Cell Lymphoma about 5 weeks ago. It has come as a huge shock to our family and his community, but we are ready, as well as he, to face this battle together.

He has started an EPOCH-R Chemotherapy and his long journey to recovery at Stanford Hospital as of this past Friday. He will be in the hospital 5 days every 3 weeks to receive this intense chemo treatment and then will be staying in a hotel nearby Stanford to be able to be close for blood tests, infusions and general care. The level of medical care he is receiving at Stanford is outstanding, and we are hopeful for a successful treatment, however, he has a long road ahead of him.

His type of Lymphoma is rare, aggressive and fast growing. Stanford is stating their approach has a 60% success rate in eliminating this cancer with the EPOCH-R. While this is promising, we want to be prepared with a plan B.

We are looking into alternative approaches as well as treatments that will possibly coincide with his current protocol. Nick is looking at the Silver Cancer Institute in Scottsdale Arizona as well as other Integrative Oncology therapies for additional treatment.

Money raised via Help Hope Live will be used to fund expenses related to supporting Nick in his hotel stays and alternative treatments that are not covered by insurance throughout his recovery.
