Bhaktivinodini Mataji’s unwavering spirit

For more than 30 years, Nongthombam Devi more popularly known by her spiritual name as Bhaktivinodini Mataji has been an initiated disciple of HH Bhakti Swarupa Damodara Swami. As a devoted member of the ISKCON community, she has been offering her service with humility, steadiness, and deep faith. Even while undergoing dialysis three times a week for the last 14 years, she has never allowed her health challenges to diminish her enthusiasm for serving the devotees. Though her physical capacity is limited, she continues to assist by making garlands, a service she performs with love, devotion, and unwavering sincerity.

The financial barrier

As she prepares for a kidney transplant, it is essential for her to continue with her current insurance, which is the only way she can access the transplant and the extensive care that follows. She needs assistance to keep the coverage active so she can move forward with the treatment she urgently needs.

Why this support is so meaningful

Bhaktivinodini mataji was born with one kidney and it had failed 14 years ago. Receiving a second kidney will give her a chance for leading a normal life. Helping her maintain this coverage directly supports her ability to receive the transplant, the hospital care, and the long-term treatment required for recovery.
