Glioblastoma is one of the most aggressive and difficult-to-treat forms of brain cancer. It grows rapidly and requires immediate, intensive treatment including surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy. The medical costs are overwhelming, and insurance does not cover many of the cutting-edge treatments and therapies that could extend Orin’s life and improve his quality of life. His family is facing hundreds of thousands of dollars in medical expenses, along with travel costs for specialized treatment centers, medications, and ongoing care that will be necessary in the months and years ahead.
