Pamela Jones

Dear Friends, Family and Community,

We are writing to you today on behalf of someone very special to us, Pamela Jones. Pamela suffers from congestive heart failure and is in very poor health. Her doctors at Temple University Hospital have told us that her only option is a life-saving heart transplant.

Pamela is 43, a loving, kind and giving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and good friend to many. She is no longer able to work or do so much of what she has always been able to do. Pamela remains optimistic and looks forward to returning to her everyday duty after God has done his work. Together we are committed to helping Pamela get thru this very difficult time.

Not only is a transplant major surgery, it is also very expensive. Even with insurance there are many expenses that will not be covered and must be paid out of pocket. Some of these are co-pays, deductibles, lab fees and Pamela will be on a life-time of very expensive anti-rejection medications. This puts our family up against a challenge we cannot meet alone and desperately need your help.

A fundraising campaign in Pamela’s honor has been established with HelpHOPELive, a nonprofit organization that has been assisting the transplant community for 30 years. All donations are tax-deductible, are held by HelpHOPELive in the Mid-Atlantic Heart Transplant Fund, and are administered by HelpHOPELive for transplant-related expenses only.
