Hi, I am Pamela K. George (Pam). I’m 61 years old originally from New Bern, N.C. and now living in Garner, N.C. I have been battling heart disease for many years.

I have an (I.C.D) Implantable cardioverter defibrillator and pacemaker for heart rhythm and an LVAD (left ventricle assist device). An LVAD is a battery operated mechanical pump that pumps blood to the rest of my body. LVAD’s are often called a bridge to transplant.

I am a candidate for heart transplant surgery. I’m asking family and friends to join me in fundraising for the nonprofit organization Help Hope Live. All contributions are greatly appreciated. Thank you!
