I was recently diagnosed in March of 2022 with Hepatecellular Carcinoma a very aggressive liver cancer, for which I will be starting chemo soon as a measure to prolong my life while I await liver a transplant. But with such an aggressive cancer inevitably liver transplant is the only solution that will offer me the opportunity to get back to a healthy life so that I can continue raising my 7 year old granddaughter, who is currently in my custody.

My family and friends are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live in my honor to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with transplantation including medication post transplant that is not covered by insurance and any travel, and living related expenses during treatment and pre and post transplantation.

I chose to fundraise for Help Hope Live in part because Help Hope Live assures fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility for contributors.
