Patricia Needs Our Help

Patricia Hinton’s life was thrown into upheaval when she was diagnosed with sarcoidosis in 2011. Her condition worsened quickly this year while Patricia was trying to work a couple of part-time jobs. Doctors have determined that her best hope for a return to good health is a lung transplant.

Patricia grew up and was educated in New York City. Married just two years ago, Patricia is devoted to her family and friends. She is a hard worker and a very determined 51 year old. Patricia is very kind-hearted and has always gone out of her way to help others.

Transplants are life saving but financially draining. Even with insurance, Patricia is facing very high expenses including medications that cost up to $2000 a month, lab fees, and clinic visits. In addition, she will be required to live nearby the hospital for several months of post-transplant care.
