Family and friends of Patricia Perez are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical and accommodation expenses associated with lung transplantation.
Patti has been battling the auto immune disease scleroderma for almost ten years. The main symptom of this disease has caused interstitial lung disease which has resulted in her need for a lung transplant. Patti has been through a multitude of tests since the beginning of 2022 and has successfully been accepted to the lung transplant list at UCSF. This means that if a match is found we will need to spend 6 to 12 weeks in San Francisco to complete the surgery and all of the rehab.
This is an amazing chance to improve Patti’s quality of life, but is also going to require an incredible expense for housing during that time. Any help towards these expenses would be much appreciated and we pray that a suitable donor becomes available within the coming months. Thank you so much for your help!
