My wife, Patty Reed suffers from chronic kidney disease, CKD. We are thrilled to tell you that on November 13, Patti received the gift of life, a life saving kidney transplant. To help her with the overwhelming cost of this lifesaving transplant Patty needs the help of her friends and lifelong community.

Patty grew up in Chico, graduated from Butte College and has owned several businesses in Chico. She has been a hairdresser for over 50 years in Chico, owned Barbery Coast Salon for 25 years and volunteered 15 years with Park Watch. Patty is a talented artist and is trying to stay very involved with her pottery, sculpting, and painting. She has helped so many people along the way and now she needs your help. Patty is blessed with a wonderful family and support team that is committed to seeing her through this life-saving transplant.

Even with insurance, there are many expenses that are not covered and must be paid out of pocket. Some of these are co-pays, deductibles, lab fees, travel to and from the transplant center and Patty will be on a life-time of expensive anti-rejection medications. This is where your support is needed.
