Paulette Duran

Hello, my name is Alfred (Al) Duran. My wife, Paulette (Armstrong) Duran, needs your help.

After much treatment and expenses, Pauli’s condition has not improved. Unfortunately, we must now plan and fund for a kidney transplant and the expenses of her donor. We are asking family, friends, and friends of friends to donate to the non-profit HOPE HELP LIVE in honor of Paulette to help with critical medical expenses.

Our family will face immediate expenses after surgery, including costs for lodging for her and her donor near the transplant center where she is required to stay up to 30 days after discharge from the hospital.

Pauli has always devoted her love and affection to her family, additionally she has spent over 40 years in a career that focused on helping people with disabilities improve their lives.

While Pauli has health insurance, many transplant expenses are surprisingly NOT covered, such as monthly medications that she will need to take for the life of her new kidney including an estimated medication cost of $5000 per month for a minimum of 3 months to 1 year after her surgery. She will also have anti-rejection medication that she will have to take for her lifetime.

We are asking for your help financially and your thoughts and prayers to help Pauli’s recovery.
