Better Quality of Life for Pete

In 2003 , at the age of 26, Peter Rodriguez was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. At this young age Pete had no idea of the challenges that he would face and what a major impact this disease would make in his life.
As the years have passed and the disease has progressed, Pete has had to make many changes and has become more and more limited in his ability to do things on a daily basis. Through the years Pete went from fully walking to using a cane. A year later, using a walker, then a rollator and currently is fully dependent on his wheelchair as he cannot walk or stand.
Currently Pete is confined to his home as has difficulty getting to and from places due to being full time in his wheelchair. Going places has become a luxury as wheelchair transportation is very expensive.
Being a young father Pete would like to live an independent lifestyle and be able to be present in his children’s , family and social activities. The best way to improve his quality of life is to seek out resources and help from individuals and organizations (like yourself) that can respond with financial assistance . This assistance would help make possible a number of things that Pete needs for a better quality of life. Pete would like to purchase a wheelchair accessible vehicle, an all terrain wheelchair a travel scooter and a few other items that are necessary. For this reason Pete would appreciate any financial assistance that you can contribute and by also sharing his story with other individuals and organizations.
