Phillip L Milstead

Family and friends of Phillip Milstead are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with a Transplant. Phillip has chosen to fundraise with Help Hope Live in part because donations are tax deductible for contributors and will only be used to cover medical and related expenses.

In 2022, I finally got to meet my long lost daughter and my beautiful grandchildren, my life felt perfect as if nothing could knock me down. That was until about a year later when I found out my own body had decided to knock me down. First it was Cirrhosis of the liver and then Cdep, my vein ruptured and one stopped working almost killing me then came everything else and ever since then it’s been an up and down roller coaster battling my health issues. Because of all of this I also am unable to make arrangements to be there for my son who’s also battling life threatening health issues making all of this that much harder on our family. Before this I was able to do all the things I loved, including running my business. Now I’m lucky if I can pick up my grand baby without being in a world of pain. My world changing the way it did has caused me so many hardships. Physical, emotional, work life, home life, social life. I love being outdoors and spending my days with my family, I would give anything to get back to myself and be the best husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather I can be.
