GOOD NEWS UPDATE: Phillip got his liver transplant in August of 2016!

Phillip Needs Your Help.

Phillip is a 52-year-old young man who is very ill with cirrhosis of the liver. Phillip has always been the “life of the room” kind of fellow, who has recently become more serious about life, getting married and with renewed determination to be a good husband, a better brother, father, grandfather and friend to everyone. Phillip’s doctors have told him that his only chance at a healthy life is to have a life-saving liver transplant – he hopes that a transplant will help him fulfill his desire to be more Christ-like.

Even with insurance, Phillip will have many uninsured transplant-related expenses such as: co-pays and deductibles, continued doctor visits, travel to and from the transplant center and the costly anti-rejection medications that he will need to take for the rest of his life. This presents a financial challenge to the family and we need your help.

To help offset such expenses, a fundraising campaign in Phillip’s honor has been established with Help Hope Live, a trusted nonprofit organization that has been providing community-based fundraising guidance to patients and their families for more than 30 years. All donations are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law, are held by Help Hope Live in the South-Atlantic Liver Transplant Fund, and are administered by Help Hope Live for transplant-related expenses only.
