Looking Ahead: Preparing for the Future

Porscha is courageously battling scleroderma, a rare autoimmune disease that has caused severe damage to her lungs and affected her heart function. Every breath is a challenge, yet she continues to face each day with remarkable strength and hope.

As we continue moving toward the goal of a bilateral lung transplant, we are also preparing for the many financial challenges that come with living with a complex, life-threatening illness.

Your support helps cover not only future transplant-related expenses, such as travel, temporary housing, caregiving, and out-of-pocket medical costs, but also the everyday essentials that make it possible for Porscha to continue receiving the care she depends on. These include reliable transportation, high electricity costs from lifesaving medical equipment, and other necessary expenses that come with managing a serious chronic illness.
