Prathamesh was diagnosed with Primary Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis (FSGS) in 2016. Primary FSGS has no known origin and happens on its own. It permanently damages kidney filters leading to end stage renal disease, ultimately requiring a kidney transplant. Despite taking all precautions, his FSGS has now reached an end stage. He is on dialysis right now and needs a transplant to survive.

Through these hard times, Prathamesh and his wife Deepti have tried to live a hopeful, cheerful, and productive life. They have also tried to help other community members in ways they can and have been involved in community activities whenever possible.

We request our friends and community members to join this fundraising through Help Hope Live to help with critical expenses they will face after the surgery. They tried to prolong the inevitable with the help of medicines and medical advice, but now his kidneys are functioning at less than 7% and he desperately needs a transplant.

While Prathamesh has health insurance, your help will assist them in covering medical expenses such as co-pays, deductibles, expenses for anti-rejection medicines, and travel to and prolonged stay close to transplant center which is not covered by health insurance, including hiring home health care, if required.
