Precilla Manuel

Precilla is in need of a kidney transplant and has been on the waiting list and dialysis for over two years. We need your help as the transplant is very expensive.

Precilla was born in the Philippines and relocated to Oahu with her newly wed husband in 1969. Precilla was diagnosed with End Stage Renal Disease as a result of hypertension. She requires renal dialysis three times a week for four plus hours each treatment. Along with these treatments, there are many complications along the way which requires additional surgical procedures to her arteriovenous fistula graft sites. After Precilla receives her kidney, she plans on traveling back to the Philippines, since she has not been back to visit her family in over thirty years. She will be back to a much normal improved life style and not have to worry about her dialysis, having more time to spend with friends and family.

The kidney transplant will be lifesaving for our mom/grandma, but will create a financial burden for us, with lifetime post-transplant medications costing up to $4500/month and many other medical expenses. We know this kidney transplant will be possible, because you and others contributed.
