Quentin and Clara Lucas

Family and friends of Quentin and Clara Lucas are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with Catastrophic Illness.

Quentin and Clara were both diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, “HSP”. They both require regular visits to different specialists due to their rare disease. Each visit is approximately an hour drive. To make their traveling easier, we are looking for a handicap accessible van that will satisfy their transportation needs, safely, reliably, and comfortably. Any travel outside of doctor visits, like traveling as a family, will be easier with not having to worry about their comfort or having problems with the vehicle. Due to the outrageous price of these, we are reaching out to get assistance with the purchase.

Quentin is a charming and smart 15 year old kid. We have never ran into someone that didn’t tell us how happy of a kid he is. He has severe spasticity in his legs and severe scoliosis. He has been through 2 hip surgeries and a scoliosis spinal straightening surgery scheduled for March.

Clara is an engaging, smart, always smiling sweet little 7 year old girl. She is non-verbal, requires the use of a wheelchair and has restrictions with her fine motor skills. At this age, her journey with this disease is unfortunately just beginning.
