Quinn’s Quest for a Kidney! Quinn is a happy, sweet, strong one year old baby boy! He loves to dance to Baby Shark videos, play with his older brother, and cuddle with whoever is holding him!

Quinn was born with hydronephrosis which caused his kidney failure. He had surgery right after he was born and spent his first two weeks of life in the NICU. He was resilient from the start! Quinn now has Stage 4 Kidney Disease and his kidneys function at less than 20%. He is not on dialysis yet but could be in the future.

Quinn is well loved and cared for by his parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and family friends. It takes a village! Quinn’s family can’t wait to see him living a healthy, active life with less unexpected hospitalizations! The only cure for Quinn’s disease is the gift of a kidney transplant.

Quinn has health insurance but there are many incidental expenses with the transplant process that health insurance does not cover. Some expenses are: paying for lodging near the hospital locally after the transplant, necessary living expenses for friends and family members taking off work to care for Quinn, out of pocket prescription co-pays, food for his family while staying locally, and gas money to and from the transplant center. The funds raised through Help Hope Live will be vital in easing the financial burden and supporting Quinn and his family during this difficult time.
