Help Nick Rosencrans Rebuild After a Life-Changing Burn Injury

A single moment changed everything — your generosity can help Nick heal.

Nick’s Story

On August 29, 2025, a peaceful camping trip turned tragic.  That evening, Nicholas Rosencrans — a devoted husband, proud father of two, and skilled craftsman — fell headfirst into a campfire, sustaining severe burns to his face, neck, and left hand.  He was airlifted to the University of Utah Burn Trauma ICU, where he spent fifteen weeks undergoing numerous surgeries and skin grafts as he fought for his life.

Today, Nick continues to face an exhausting recovery.  He requires daily wound care, outpatient surgeries, and intensive therapy to regain function in his face and hand.  Unable to work, his family has lost their primary source of income while essential medical expenses — including compression garments, wound and scar care supplies, adaptive equipment, medications, co‑payments, and long‑term rehabilitation — continue to grow.

Help Nick Heal: Ongoing Support for Burn Recovery

As Nick is recovering from severe burn injuries to his face, neck, and hand, the road forward is long. He is unable to work right now, and our family is facing major out-of-pocket medical costs, therapy expenses, travel, and everyday living expenses during this loss of income.

Even with insurance, the bills are overwhelming. They are already carrying five-figure medical costs, and recovery continues to require treatment, pain management, therapy, and follow-up care.

We are asking you to join Nick’s Healing Team. A monthly gift of any amount gives steady support for the care and basic stability he needs while rebuilding his life. If monthly giving is not possible, a one-time gift or sharing this page with others would also mean so much.

Why monthly support matters

Nick’s needs continue every month, not just once. Monthly donations help cover ongoing therapy, follow-up care, pain management, travel to appointments, and living expenses while he is unable to work. How your support helps:

•         $15/month helps with recovery supplies.

•         $25/month helps with travel to appointments.

•         $50/month helps with therapy or specialist copays.

•         $100/month helps reduce unpaid medical bills and keep treatment moving forward.

If 40 people gave $25/month, that would provide $1,000 each month toward essential recovery costs.

If 100 people gave $15/month, that would provide $1,500 each month in steady support.

Burn recovery is a marathon, not a moment. Thank you for walking this road with Nick and our family.
