What happens if the fundraising goal is not met?

Funds donated to Randy’s campaign can be used for a variety of medically related needs, including paying for medical bills, nursing care, adaptive equipment etc. Although the primary goal of this fundraiser is to raise enough funds to purchase a wheelchair van, if the fundraising goal is not met the funds will not go to waste. They will either be applied to the purchase of the wheelchair van or go to another medically related expense.

How is this tax-deductible?

Help Hope Live is a 501(c)(3) and receives the donations and pays for the medically related expenses directly, to ensure donations are used only for appropriate needs. This allows for tax deductibility of donations.
