Randy Needs All of Our Support!

Dear Family and Friends,
I am writing this on behalf of my husband Randy Slack. Some of you know that Randy suffers from emphysema and COPD. This past year, his health has declined and his doctors at Tampa General have told us that he is in need of a life-saving double lung transplant.

You may know Randy from Parchment, Michigan where he grew up or from Hudson, Florida where he has lived for the last 11 years. Randy had several jobs over the years including construction, carpet/flooring supply services and he also ran his own janitorial company. Then a good friend got him into plumbing. After that we moved to Florida where he had a few different jobs until his breathing condition became a serious problem. After many years of helping others, Randy is now the one who needs our help.

Transplants are life-saving and also very expensive. Even with insurance, there are many expenses that are not covered and must be paid out of pocket. Some of these are co-pays, deductibles, lab fees and Randy will be on daily anti-rejection medications for the rest of his life that are very expensive. This puts us up against a challenge we cannot meet alone and desperately need your help.
