Rashad Davis

Family and friends of Rashad Davis are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund a new handicapped accessible vehicle. Rashad’s mom currently drives a twenty-six years old Ford E350. It is the only means she has for taking him anywhere. In recent months it has broken down several times leaving them stranded on the side of the road. Rashad’s health is continuing on a downward trend lately. In the last six months, Rashad needed to be rushed to the hospital with nearly no forewarning. Because he requires several medical machines to help him daily, it is imperative for his mom to have reliable transportation. Rashad requires the use of a tilt-in-space wheelchair which weighs one hundred forty-two pounds empty. As he becomes weaker, it’s dangerous for his mom to try to transfer him in and out of a non handicapped accessible vehicle. The doctors have basically reached the limit on medication to help Rashad. His mother also uses his current transportation to take him places to enhance his life, zoo, parks, Jurassic Quest, etc. Can you please help her get a vehicle to safely transport him?
