First and foremost, I would like to thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule and spending some time to read about our cause. My name is Samuel and I am raising money for my wonderful sister, Rebeca. She is an incredible mother to two young children, loving wife, selfless daughter and above all, faithful servant of the Lord.

Rebeca was diagnosed with Focal Segmented Glameruloscliosis – FSGS and proteinuria in 2016. FSGS attacks the filtering units within the kidneys causing serious scarring which leads to permanent kidney damage and/or failure. It has been an uphill battle for Rebecca. Despite all efforts, her kidneys are failing. She is currently at stage five kidney failure and is in dire need of a kidney transplant.

In addition to what her insurance will cover, she is still in need of $12,000 to cover the cost of a kidney transplant. $6,000 of which is needed as a down payment to even be put on the transplant list.

We understand these are hard economic times. However, we are asking that you help our family in any way that you can. Anything helps. Thank you once again for taking the time to read her story.

Rebeca fue diagnosticada con glameruloscliosis focal segmentada – FSGS y proteinuria en 2016. El FSGS ataca las unidades de filtrado dentro de los riñones causando cicatrices graves que conducen a daño o falla renal permanente. Ha sido una batalla cuesta arriba para Rebecca.
