Becky Eddins

Becky is a 44 year old wife and mother. She has struggled with Type 1 diabetes for over 30 years and has over time developed stage 3 kidney disease. In addition to Becky’s roles as wife and mother, she has been the primary support for her aging mother. Becky is in need of a life-saving kidney – pancreas transplant and needs your support in her efforts to undergo the transplant process successfully.

Becky and her husband, Robert, must temporarily relocate from their home in Rigby, Idaho for up to 6 months to be closer to the hospital for close follow-up care once a donor is available. Although Becky does have insurance, there are many other transplant related costs that will not be covered by insurance such as, relocation costs, co-pays, medication costs, clinic visits, and other living expenses during the relocation timeframe.

To help with the financial burden of Becky’s uninsured expenses, a fundraising campaign in her honor has been established with Help Hope Live, a trusted nonprofit organization that has been providing community-based fundraising guidance to patients and their families for more than 30 years. All donations are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law, are held by Help Hope Live in the Northwest Pancreas/Kidney Transplant Fund, and are administered by Help Hope Live for transplant-related expenses only.
