Family and friends of Rebecca Michael are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund expenses associated with transplantation.

Becky loves the outdoors, and is an active member of her church and community. She and her dog, Bailey, enjoy walking on the trails all over Duluth. She has always enjoyed going to the races, and loves geocaching. Her son, Garrett, is her pride and joy, and she is very proud of the young man he has become.

Becky has suffered from chronic pancreatitis for many years. There is a new procedure available, called a TP/IAT, and the transplant team at the University of Minnesota is one of the best. Surgery is scheduled for Feb 25th, and there will be a long recovery afterward. Please feel free to check in here and follow updates as they are available. We’re hoping this transplant will allow Becky to be able to continue to enjoy all of the things that she loves so much, with an ultimate goal being able to go back to work.
