Hello. I’m Rebecca Ward, and this is my life story. I started to feeling like I just couldn’t catch my breath; so I went to the doctor and was told I had an infection and bronchitis. I was given some antibiotics, and an inhaler. Needless to say, my problem was getting worse. I ended up going back to the doctor, and still my doctor told me the same thing again and gave me the same antibiotics. After the 3rd time I was about to lose it! Something was very wrong and the doctor just wasn’t listening to me. He was going to put me back on the same medication. I just got done with after the 3rd time. I went to another doctor he done x-rays and other tests. I was told I had a very bad case of COPD. All of this started in 2006. I’ve been fighting it for a long time. Now it’s done gotten worse. I’m in need of a double lung transplant. I’m not able to get on the list until I at least raise $7,000.00 or more.
