My dad was hospitalized on May 23rd 2025. He spent 8 days in cardiac ICU and was diagnosed with advanced heart failure. He was given 1-2 years without a transplant. He lives day to day on a PICC line to keep his heart going. He also wears a LifeVest (external defibrillator) 24/7. After multiple tests he was approved on 8.26.2025 for the heart transplant list! He was working full time up to this point and can no longer work. They will need help with medical bills, travel, medications, and any other medical necessities along the way.
