Rick has battled kidney disease for many years and it has come to a critical point. This husband, father and grandfather of Raelee Jo, is now in end stage kidney failure. He is on dialysis and needs a kidney transplant.

We are asking friends and family to join us in fundraising to help cover the critical expenses Rick will need following surgery. We are partnering with Help Hope Love to help with these expenses, including the cost for lodging near the transplant center where he is required to stay for a minimum of 6 weeks following surgery.

Rick has been a hard worker all of his life. Despite his chronic health issues, he has raised a family and provided for them. With a good attitude and lifestyle he has delayed the inevitable for a long time, but now his kidney function is critically low-less than 10%. He desperately needs our help.

Rick has health insurance, but unfortunately many transplant expenses are not covered, such as the monthly anti-rejection medicine he will need to take for the life of his new kidney. He has been told that this cost could exceed $2500 per month.

Donations to help Hope Live can ease the burden and allow Rick to focus on a healthy recovery and a long life with his family.
