Help Robert Get a Kidney!

Family and friends many of you know I need a kidney transplant, So I have teamed up with Help Hope Live to fundraise for my up coming kidney transplant.

See in 2018 my doctors told me my kidneys were not functioning properly. They were at about 50%. After a year on different medications it progressively became worse. By 2020 I was diagnosed with End Stage Renal Kidney Failure. I had surgery to have a fistula installed in my left arm to allow easy access for dialysis. My dialysis journey began . Many of you know I was always a “Big Guy” 385 pound ( picture on the right2021) in order to get a transplant I had to get healthier to prevent rejection. I’ve lost around 150 pounds ( picture on the right 2022). No longer on diabetic medication. No longer sedentary life style I work out 3-4 times a week. And have still kept the weight off.

Transplants are expensive 100s of thousands of dollars and yes insurance will cover about 75%, that’s where the fund raiser come into play . As insurance doesn’t cover transportation to out of state hospitals or temporary relocation to be close to hospitals for constant evaluation after transplant. So I asking for your assistance any little bit will help.
