Robert Little Jr

Family and friends of Robert Little Jr are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with transplantation.

Robert Little Jr, 53 years old, was born and raised in Oklahoma city Oklahoma. On September 25, 2023, Robert was diagnosed with kidney failure. His kidneys currently only function at 17% and as time moves on his kidney function will get worse. He started hemodialysis in October of 2023. Since then, life has been difficult both mentally and physically as he has to struggle with diet restrictions and lifestyle changes. Often after a dialysis session fatigue is an obstacle that Robert often deals with. Although he has been told that a transplant is possible, it will be a few years before full recovery with numerous out of pocket
cost. Meanwhile, he has been learning to live with his difficulties.

Robert was a career over the road truck driver, a career he enjoyed for 24 years. He has a compassion for hockey, motorcycle racing, shooting pool and most thing related to aviation. Robert is a father to three daughters, one son, and one grandson. He recently became a member of the Maranatha Baptist Church of Oklahoma City.

Robert is fundraising to help with post kidney transplant expenses. Some of these expenses include Doctor office visits, insurance co pays, and medicine and travel expenses. After transplant, Robert will be prescribed medicines that will have to be taken daily for the rest of his life. He hopes to raise enough money to ease the financial burden of post operation care.
After recovery, he plans to go back to truck driving full time.
