Robin Majors

Dear Family & Friends,

Five years ago, Robin LaRue Majors was diagnosed with hepatitis. This past October cancer was detected in his liver. His only chance for survival was a life-saving liver transplant. We have wonderful news to share with you. Robin received his “gift of life” and underwent a successful life-saving transplant. He and his family are extremely grateful and touched by the overwhelming generosity of his donor and the family of the donor.

Many of you know Robin from his extensive career in the music industry. Some of you know Robin from his deep family roots in Granger County of East Tennessee or you grew up with him in Tullahoma. Or maybe you’ve met Robin through relationships with his wife Misty, children Daniel, Amelia, and Anna or their extended family. However you’ve come to know him, you know that Robin is an amazing husband, father, and friend to all with a warm and caring heart. And now he needs our help.

As you can imagine, Robin’s strenuous journey has led to staggering medical bills. Even with insurance there are many expenses that must be paid out of pocket. Some of these are co-pays, deductibles, and Robin will be on a life-time of anti-rejection medications. As friends of the Majors family, we can continue to offer our help and prayers during this time. We can also help financially.

A fundraising campaign in Robin’s honor has been established with HelpHOPELive, a nonprofit organization that has been assisting the transplant community for 30 years. All contributions are tax-deductible, are held by HelpHOPELive in the South-Atlantic Liver Transplant Fund, and are administered by HelpHOPELive for transplant-related expenses only. Any size gift will be appreciated.
