Russell Moore

Rusty was recently diagnosed with Amyloidosis. This is a progressive disease primarily affecting his heart. Due to the rapid progression and damage caused by the disease, Rusty now requires a heart transplant. Family and friends of Rusty Moore are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with a heart transplant. We have chosen to fundraise with Help Hope Live in part because donations are tax deductible for contributors and will only be used to cover medical and related expenses. In addition, Help Hope Live manages all the funds raised and makes payments directly on behalf of Rusty. Rusty will have a lengthy hospital stay both pre and post transplant, and will be required to remain in Birmingham for several weeks after discharge from the hospital. Our primary goal is to assist in covering expenses during this time so that his wife, Pam, can remain by his side and focused on his care. Thank you for considering donation to our fund.
