As some of you know, my husband Ryan received the gift of life back in 2013 due to someone very special saying yes! The last 6+ years have been nothing short of amazing and we are forever grateful. Unfortunately, due to complications, Ryan now needs a second lung transplant to survive. We’re asking family and friends to join our family in fundraising for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to assist our family with all of the critical expenses that come along with transplant, including care before and after surgery.

As most of you know by now, Ryan’s humor and positive attitude have always trumped his chronic health condition. He never wants anyone to know he’s “sick” or “needs anything” but is always trying to help others instead. Even though he is now dealing with chronic rejection, shortness of breath, and the anxiety of waiting, he is still an amazing husband and father. Nobody ever wants to ask for help but here we are…WE NEED YOUR HELP!

While Ryan does in fact have health insurance, there are a lot of expenses of a transplant that are not covered. Things like anti-rejection medications for life, copays, deductibles, oxygen bills, gas to get to and from all of his appointments, pre and post home care, and many more if you can imagine.

Your donations to Help Hope Live in honor of Ryan will help ease the financial burden of another transplant and allow our family to focus on a speedy and healthy recovery for Ryan.
