No one wants to need financial support. It’s humbling to say the least. I don’t understand why God has allowed this in my life, but this is where I am. You never know what’s coming in life. My accident took the future I had, my job, and all the things I loved to do. Now, I’m learning to adapt to a new future on wheels. It’s hard…not gonna lie. I’d give anything to have even some of my former mobility back, especially my hands. Over the next couple of years, I’ll figure out how to live with my new normal. I hope to return to work, re-learn to paint, and make peace with my situation. I love my family and I am blessed to have their support.

I hope to buy a van as soon as we’re able to, and they cost between $35k-$70k.
