Scott DeKeyser

Family and friends of Scott DeKeyser are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with a Catastrophic Stroke. Scott has chosen to fundraise with Help Hope Live in part because donations are tax-deductible for contributors and will only be used to cover medical and related expenses.

As you can see from the video above, Scott won the best special-needs worker in the state of Texas in 2009! This video shows where we hope Scott gets back to so he can come home. As you can see from the pictures below, Scott had to be restrained for most of his time in the hospital and the rehab hospital due to his special needs condition. The next step in his recovery is a skilled nursing facility, which Medicare only covers for 20 days, and then it becomes self-pay. Scott has made great progress, and with the continued rehab and your help, we hope to have him home soon.
