Please, help this Angel with broken wings!

After a tick bite in 2010, Sherri battled multiple medical issues. Years later, per her request, she tested positive for Lyme Disease, but would not find treatment, only later, to be placed on disability. For thirteen years, with a few surgeries, physical therapy & medications, she has struggled with debilitating pain due to severe degenerative disc disease & Major Depressive Disorder. She disconnected from friends, society & life for ten (10) years struggling with suicidal thoughts, but she fought to stay alive seeing multiple doctors every month. In early 2022, with the help of medical professionals, medications, family & friends, Sherri began reconnecting with friends & society. After a routine visit with a new primary care physician, in the Fall of 2022, she had a cancer screen scheduled which came back abnormal. January 2023, she was diagnosed with Extensive Stage Small Cell Cancer in her lungs & liver. Working with a team of doctors, undergoing chemotherapy & immunotherapy treatments the cancer continues to grow, along with the expenses. She continues to struggle with the debilitating pain on a daily basis, as she has for thirteen (13) years, keeping her on her back, for days at a time. Despite feeling overwhelmed & alone, she continues the fight to save her life & remains positive. At 56 years of age, it is taking its toll on her mind, body & soul.

Being a native of Missouri, Sherri is a lifelong Kansas City Chiefs fan, who grew up in Savannah, Georgia. She worked over 20 years in the dental industry. Entering the dental field while in high school, she enjoyed the work, thrived and made many friends. As a military wife, during Desert Storm, she volunteered as a Spouse Leader, helping families of the soldiers serving overseas. Having no children of her own, she holds a great love & relationship with her nephew, niece & their children. Family & friend are very dear to her heart & deeply loved by her. Being a Libra, she is quite intuitive, as well as, spiritual, honest, compassionate, friendly, helpful, witty & incredibly comical. She lights up a room with her personality & beauty, never having met a stranger. Your prayers and support are greatly needed and very much appreciated. Donations will help pay for her insurance premiums, deductibles, co-pays for her chemotherapy treatments, MRI/CT scans, medications & medical supplies/equipment. Having already received a $6000 medical bill on top of her other expenses has her very concerned about how she will cover the expenses & future cancer treatments. She feels overwhelmed & it is affecting her frame of mind. We need her to stay positive & not focus on the financial burden the cancer treatments have brought upon her.
