Sheryl Mahoney

Hi my name is Sheryl. I have Polycystic Kidney Disease. This is hereditary, and I have been dealing with this for 13 years. I now am in need of a kidney transplant. This disease develops cysts, and as the cysts get larger, they begin to take away function of the kidney.

I’m the mom of four amazing boys. Two of them are adults, and the other two are teenagers, and being a mom is one of my greatest accomplishments. I am a Severe and Profound/Multi-disability Paraprofessional at the high school level, and I have a passion for helping students reach their potential. With six years of experience, I hope to continue working in education.
