JOIN THE DRIVE TO HELP STACEY THRIVE!

Family and friends of Stacey Miller are fund raising through the nonprofit organization “Help Hope Live” to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with his heart and kidney transplantation.

In 2014, Stacey started running out of energy, he went into the hospital, and they repaired a heart valve. After few weeks, he returned to work and soon passed out on the job. Stacey received a triple bypass surgery, again he returned to work but kept running out of energy, his heart function was at a rate of 25%. In 2019 the doctors said it was no longer safe for him to work and he went into surgery again and a (LVAD) pump was attached to his heart. Stacey’s heart continued to get weaker and in 2022 he was diagnosed with needing a heart and kidney transplant.

Stacey loves to be around people and has never met a stranger, he is passionate about encouraging and supporting his family, friends and especially youth to achieve goals. Because of his lack of energy, it pains him to not be able to go to church or gatherings where family or friends are. And it really hurts him not to be able to play or even walk with his grandchildren.

In order for Stacey to Thrive, he must receive a heart and kidney. Stacey has been in the hospital in Fairfax Virginia since February 27, 2023, he has finally been listed with UNOS.

These campaign funds will be used for 24 hours after care and all the things that go along with a journey to recovery, such as non-covered medication, travel/temporary relocation to Fairfax Virginia (where the surgery will take place), physical therapy, post home health care, medical equipment or supplies.

“Help Hope Live” was chosen because they assure fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility for contributors. Contributors can be sure donations will be used to pay or reimburse medical and related expenses.
