Steavella Tippens-Gaddis

Hello, my name is Steavella Tippens-Gaddis. I had a successful liver transplant in June 2016. Unfortunately, since then my kidneys have gotten worse and I will need to go on dialysis soon if a donor isn’t perfectly matched.

I have always been a loving wife, mother, stepmother, grandmother, sister, aunt and good friend. I was also very involved in my church ministry and always there for others.

Unfortunately, due to my declining health, I had to stop working four years ago and am no longer able to do so much of what I was always able to do. After receiving a kidney transplant I look forward to spending quality time with friends, family and becoming a more active member of the community again. After many years of trying to help others, now I need your help.

A transplant is life-saving and also very expensive. Even with insurance there are many expenses that must be paid out of pocket. Some of these expenses are co-pays, deductibles, lab fees and a life-time of anti-rejection medications. This is where I need your support. My goal is $5,000 to begin my journey. Any and all donations to help me reach that goal will be greatly appreciated.

A fundraising campaign in honor of myself, Steavella Tippens-Gaddis, has been established with Help Hope Live a trusted nonprofit organization that has been providing community-based fundraising guidance to patients and their families for more than 30 years.
